Modification of my personal logo/insignia/brand.

Not entirely sure if I want to switch over to using this instead of my current logo/insignia/brand, shown here:

The old one has started to look kinda goofy to me, I guess - and true circles just seem to fit everywhere, but I dunno...

I'm looking for some feedback/opinions before I decide.

It looks kind of like a sewed button...
I like it. Its more compact.

Using a basic circle rather than an oval does lend the logo a solid look, and as you said, it would also be easier to work with when watermarking your art. The only objection I'd think anyone could come up with is that it isn't as obvious that the two halves of the circle are D's, but I seriously doubt that would ever be an issue.

I say use it. It's a small change, but it looks nice and slick.

Thanks for the comment.

I took everything you said onboard and I meant to reply but got sidetracked.

Looks awesome man!

It's hard to say which I like most, though - I like this one because of how uniform it's dimensions are (thickness, symmetry), and I like the other one because of how elongated and sleek it is.

Thanks.

I kinda thought the older logo was starting to look kinda goofy - for want of a better word. I think the update looks more professional.

Yeah, being more "rounded" seems to be more fit to any work/art you want to put this.N
ot that the old one seemed "goofy", both are awesome, but this one is more "simple" and clean to see.

Yeah, I decided on this one because it looks more 'professional'.
